Liza and Tyler were practicing a few Spanish phrases as we were sitting down to dinner. Landon was getting situated, too, and not saying much. However, when Tyler asked Liza, "Can you say 'My name is Liza' in Spanish?"Landon quickly jumped in with,
"My name is Liza in Spanish! See! I can say it!!"
If he weren't three, it would count as being a smart alec; but since that's not his agenda - he got a laugh :)
As we we headed to Tyler's soccer game this afternoon, Landon rolled down his window. His "cozy blankie" was in its spot in his arms. Landon lifted it up and let the wind blow it. I was sitting next to him (we were giving a friend a ride), and said, "Don't do that. Your blankie will blow away and you'll be so sad."
His reply? "No. If my blankie blows away, then Heavenly Father will get it for me and throw it back down."
I love it. Kids are the best and I love their simple way of looking at things. Such faith! :)
